These applications are hosted online are accessed from a web browser, while the software and data are stored on the servers.Some Examples are: Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail,Google Docs and Google Apps.

In this class we will compare traditioanl and Web-based software and look at some of the emerging trenda and leaders in this field.
